The HOLS (Suzhou) editor reminds everyone that the glue dispenser is a machine that can achieve automatic mixing and quantitative mixing of two-component glue. This device is mainly designed for two-component adhesives. Suitable adhesives include two-component epoxy resin, two-component polyurethane, two-component silicone, etc. The promotion and application of glue filling equipment has reduced the manpower investment of enterprises, accelerated their production efficiency and product quality.

Principle description of glue dispenser:
Pour AB glue and cleaning solution into corresponding buckets -> Set the glue ratio, dispensing time, dispensing path, vacuum, heating, stirring, etc. through touch screen or teaching box programming-& Gt; Save the program, press start, and the three-axis robotic arm will start moving the glue filling according to the program; The brushless motor at the machine head drives the mixing tube under the glue valve to rotate at high speed. The spiral blades inside the mixing tube divide the glue multiple times, achieving uniform mixing of the glue; After stopping the glue filling, open the cleaning valve, close the AB glue valve, press the automatic cleaning button, and the machine will automatically extract the cleaning solution to clean the glue in the mixing tube

Precautions for using glue dispensers
Silicone plays an important role in the production of the electronic communication industry.. But once silicone combines with organic compounds such as N, P, S, etc., a chemical reaction will quickly occur during the dispensing process of the dispensing machine, which is commonly known as silicone poisoning phenomenon

Analysis of the causes of silicone poisoning

When using silicone gel in the glue dispenser, it is necessary for the silicone gel to undergo an additional reaction, that is, the silicon hydrogen bond in the silicone gel undergoes an additional reaction with the silicone vinyl bond. Due to the additional reaction requiring metal Pt as the material, their mixing will produce compounds, which are an unstable substance

This mixture is easily affected by certain substances and undergoes chemical or compound structural changes. At this time, it is easy to lose the catalytic activity of silicon hydrogen and silicon vinyl bonds. If the added silicone contains any substance that can react with the catalyst Pt in the addition process during vulcanization or curing (whether in surface contact or mixing), under general curing conditions, Additive silicone rubber does not cure (the state before and after the reaction is still liquid), or does not cure thoroughly (the required elastomer or hardness cannot be obtained or the surface becomes sticky after curing), resulting in catalyst poisoning

Methods to avoid silicone poisoning in the glue dispenser

Firstly, in order to avoid silicone poisoning, the HOLS (Suzhou)  editor suggests avoiding contact with organic compounds containing phosphorus, sulfur, and nitrogen when using the glue dispenser, or avoiding the simultaneous use of polyurethane, epoxy resin, unsaturated polyester, shrink room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber, and other products. In addition, when the glue dispenser uses silicone from different manufacturers, the silicone must be gradually cleaned from the barrel to the dispensing pump to avoid glue poisoning.
